The British Columbia Aviation Museum Society is dedicated to preserving aircraft and artefacts. We collect, restore and display aircraft and artefacts related to the history of aviation in Canada, with emphasis on British Columbia aviation history.
Museum activities include aircraft restoration to static or airworthy status, construction of engine displays, aircraft modeling, artefact maintenance, archive maintenance (aviation books, pictures and videos), and creation of memorials to aviation and the people who made it happen. We have plans to expand the museum by adding more space, and naturally adding more displays.
We are open every day except Christmas and New Years. We invite you to visit our gift shop, Memorial Room, and aircraft and artefact collection. Browse the museum on your own, or have one of our tour guides show you around.

Financial Support
Financial support for the museum’s work comes from several sources. Assistance for the building was provided by the Government of British Columbia under Expo Legacy and GO-BC grants. The Land is provided by Victoria Airport Authority on a nominal cost lease. The municipality of North Saanich provides annual assistance by waiving property taxes. Several restoration and research projects were funded by the British Columbia Heritage Trust grants and from British Columbia Gaming Commission Casino revenue.
Additional funds for the restoration of a Noorduyn Norseman to flying condition were provided by the Millennium Fund
Expenses are met through memberships, Founding Patron donations, general donations, entrance fees and gift shop sales. The British Columbia Aviation Museum is registered with Revenue Canada and can issue receipts for donations of cash or material.
